Guilbaud Saint-Cyr is the 4th of five children, born in Pilate on January 6, 1969. He accepted Jesus as his Savior in 1984 and is now an active member, preacher, and Sunday school teacher at the Baptist Evangelical Church of Pétion-Ville. Guilbaud Saint-Cyr has been the National Director of Compassion International since 2003. He has worked in the private sector and in NGOs through an accounting firm he founded himself in 2001. He also served as a teacher and academic director at a college for 7 years. Guilbaud is a certified public accountant and a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors. He also holds a master’s degree in organizational leadership from Azusa Pacific University and a master’s in holistic child development from the Baptist Theological Seminary of Malaysia. Guilbaud earned a bachelor’s degree in business management and a bachelor’s in accounting, both from the State University of Haiti. He holds an advanced leadership diploma from the Haggai Institute in Singapore. Among Guilbaud’s extracurricular activities are chairing the Board of Directors of the Evangelical Press, a Christian publishing service, and presiding over the Federation of Protestant Schools of Haiti (FEPH), as well as being a member of the General Assembly of the Christian University of Northern Haiti (UNCH). He is also the founder and former national coordinator of the Network of Christian Organizations for the Development and Promotion of Children (ROCHEPE), a consortium of 13 Christian organizations working with children.
