Joél Joseph Deneus is a lawyer, a doctor of international law, and the founder of Deneus & Associates Law Firm, with over three decades of experience in Haiti and the United States. An emeritus professor and former criminology instructor at the Faculty of Law and Economic Sciences in Port-au-Prince, he also worked as an investigator within the Palm Beach Crime Unit in Florida. Legal consultant for NGOs and public institutions, he is recognized for his expertise in public law, criminology, and conflict resolution. An active member of several bar associations and national and international legal organizations, he also engages in volunteer and community work. He has received several honors for his contributions to law and society.
